Business Plan for Big Impact

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering organized an engaging interactive session on “Business Plan for Big Impact” on December 17, 2024, at Spoorthi Hall, AB 3. The session was conducted by Mr. Gaurav Kamath, Founder of Microdegree, and was attended by over 100 5th-semester ECE students as part of their course on Technological Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship.

 

Mr. Gaurav Kamath, known for his expertise in skill-based learning and innovation, shared valuable insights into entrepreneurship, business plan development, and technological innovation. He spoke about his entrepreneurial journey, the challenges faced in establishing Microdegree, and how a well-structured business plan plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of a startup.

 

The session was highly interactive, with students actively engaging in discussions and seeking guidance on structuring impactful business plans. Through practical examples and real-world case studies, Mr. Kamath demonstrated the key components of a strong business plan, emphasizing the importance of market research, value proposition, scalability, and financial planning.

 

The event was coordinated by Mr. Glenson Toney and Dr. Aldrin C Vaz from the Department of ECE. The session proved to be an insightful learning experience, equipping students with essential entrepreneurial skills and inspiring them to explore innovative business ideas.
