Brief about the proceedings of the event: The Prodigi- Student Association of the ECE Department had organized a talk on "Being An Entrepreneur” for the Pre final year students by Ms Andrea Gonsalves, Co-founder- Market Bird, an advertising Agency as well as the alumni of class of 2016.

The session began at 3:00 pm in Fr Fred Hall , Academic Block I. person. Ms Jennifer Saldanha  Assistant Professor ECE welcomed all and introduced the speaker.

Ms Andrea gave the insights on being an employee or an entrepreneur as well how to how to start a business. She stressed on the fact that that Entrepreneurship is not about the idea it about the implementation. She shared the experience of starting a business during the critical phase of life (2020 pandemic).She spoke about different ways to start a business without investing ,the resources required to start a venture, and how to look onto the opportunities. She called upon the students to look onto the opportunities rather than putting boundaries or restrictions.

At the end of the session, Ms Andrea interacted with the students and answered various

questions. Ms Jennifer handed over the Appreciation letter and thanked the Ms Andrea for having a fruitful interaction with the students. The session was well organized and appreciated by everyone.

 

Ms Shwetha Kunte of 3 rd year ECE compered the program. Ms Jennifer Saldanha, Ms Avila Priya Pinto and Mr Prasad Assistant Professors ECE, coordinated the event.
