Hands on training session was held on November 26, 2022 in the Department of Electronics & Communication, St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru. The resource persons for the training were Engineers from Karmic Design Pvt. Ltd., Manipal. The 4th year students from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering attended the training session. Staff members Dr Rohan Pinto Associate Professor, Mr Vijay Ganesh P C, Assistant Professor, Ms Florence Nishmitha, Assistant Professor, and Ms Divya Dsouza, Lab Assistant also attended the training program. The training session was for one full day. Five Engineers from Karmic Design taught the students few topics from VLSI course (18EC72) and also gave demo using Cadence Software. 110 Students underwent the hands-on training session and appreciated the programs. They could understand the topics and industry style of approach in tackling a problem involved in designing a digital circuit.
