St. Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangaluru, in collaboration with SJEC AICTE IDEA LAB and the Departments of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering, organized three-day workshop on "Inteet of Things" from 21 to 23 November, 2023, specifically tailored for the teaching faculties.15 faculty members from different Institutions registered for the workshop and actively participated.
The workshop covered a spectrum of topics, commencing with an Introduction to IoT, followed by in-depth sessions on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and Node MCU. Participants delved into practical aspects, leaing about static web page creation, establishing a simple server in Node MCU, understanding Adafruit, creating dashboards in Adafruit, connecting Node MCU with Adafruit, and installing a local server in Raspberry Pi.
The sessions were expertly led by resource persons including Mr. Vijay Ganesh P.C, Ms. Jennifer C. Saldanha, Mr. Radhakrishna, Ms. Jayalakshmi K.P, and Ms. Priya Seema Miranda, Assistant Professors from the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, along with Dr. Binu K.G, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Deekshith and Ms. Theresa Pinto guided the participants as Tech Gurus. The training program was well appreciated by all the participants. Ms Madhavi Gatty , Assistant Pofessor, Dept. of EEE and Ms Simi P Thomas, Assistant Professor, Dept. of ECE coordinated this program.
