As part of Xavier Board Week 2026, AICUF SJEC Unit under CCG, in association with the Department of ECE, organized an Essay Competition for the faculty and students of SJEC from 12–16 September 2026.
The student essay topic was “75 Years of Legacy and Beyond: Empowering Youth as Catalysts for Digital Innovation, Environmental Stewardship, and Inclusive Peace in a Pluralistic India.”
The faculty essay topic was “75 Years of Values and Vision: Navigating AI and Educational Reforms through the Xavier Board’s Legacy of Social Justice and Excellence.”
The entries were evaluated based on relevance, originality, critical thinking, clarity, and overall presentation, and the three best student essays and three best faculty essays were shortlisted.
The shortlisted essays were forwarded to the Xavier Board, Karnataka, for further consideration and recognition.The coordinators were Mr Joysun Dsouza and Ms Vinitha Pasanha.
