Industrial Visit to Karmic Design Pvt. Ltd

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, through the coordinators of Prodigi – the Student Association, organized an Industrial Visit to Karmic Design Pvt. Ltd. on 16^th February 2026 for 40 students of the VI semester with the aim of providing them exposure to real-world industry practices and insights into the semiconductor design domain. The visit was accompanied by Dr. Aldrin Vaz and Ms. Florence Nishmitha, Assistant Professors of the department. The team reached the company premises at 11:30 AM, where they were warmly received by the company officials. An informative and interactive technical session was conducted by Mr Pavan Raj, Senior Design Engineer at the company. During the session, he provided a detailed overview of the organization, explaining the background of the company, its work culture, the companies they collaborate with, and the various projects and design solutions they undertake in the semiconductor and electronics industry. He also highlighted the skills required for aspiring engineers, industry expectations, and the practical challenges involved in real-time design projects, which gave students valuable insights into professional engineering environments. The session continued until 1:30 PM, with a short break in between during which refreshments were provided by the company. At the end of the session, the company officials joined the students and faculty members for a group photograph, marking the successful completion of the industrial visit and creating a memorable experience for all the participants.
