Placement Training Activities for 6 th Semester ECE Students

The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, in collaboration with the Placement & Training Group, as part of the UDAAN initiative, organized a series of placement training activities for 6th semester ECE students.
On June 12, 2024, a session titled “Crafting Effective Resumes” was held at Fr Fred Hall from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. During this session, Ms. Florence Nishmitha, Asst. Prof., Dept. of ECE and Mr. Glenson Toney, Asst. Prof., Dept. of ECE and Training Coordinator, T&P Cell, SJEC, offered students valuable insights on preparing effective resumes.
From June 18 to June 20, 2024, students participated in Resume Feedback Sessions, receiving detailed feedback from faculty members: Ms. Nandini Maninarayana, Ms. Padmini Bhat, Ms. Preetha D’Souza, Ms. Florence Nishmitha, Mr. Radhakrishna, Dr. Aldrin Vaz, Asst. Profs., Dept. of ECE and Mr. Glenson Toney, Asst. Prof., Dept. of ECE and Training Coordinator, T&P Cell, SJEC. On June 21, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, the same faculty members facilitated a session titled “Level Up Your Resume” in the classrooms of the Dept. of ECE, further refining students’ resumes.
The training activities culminated on June 29, 2024, with Mock Interviews (Technical & HR) held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Training & Placement Cell. The panel included four technical experts: Mr. Pavan Raj and Mr. Pringal D’Souza from KarMic Design Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Vageesha and Mr. Prathik from Brevera Technologies, and four HR professionals: Mr. John Rohan from Global E-Softsys, Ms. Diana Bangers from Novigo Solutions, Ms. Sanjana Gopal from EGDK India Pvt. Ltd., and Ms. Priya from Exito Media Concepts Pvt. Ltd.
This comprehensive placement training initiative aimed to equip students with the necessary skills and confidence to excel in their future careers.
