The Prodigi (Student Association of ECE) organized a Technical talk on “Machine Learning Applications in 5G Technology”” for III Year ECE Students on 31 May 2024 in Fr Fred Memorial Hall from 11.15 AM to 12.30 PM. The Resource person for the session Dr Christopher Clement J - Associate Professor, School of Electronics Engineering, Vellore Institute of Technology , Vellore. Ms Priya Seema Miranda Assistant Professor Dept of ECE welcomed and Introduced the Resource person to August gathering. Dr Dayakshini, HOD ECE Department florally welcomed Dr Christopher Clement J.
Sir gave insights on practical exposure on machine learning on 5G applications using MATLAB. His discussion covered how MATLAB can be leveraged to design and simulate machine learning algorithms specifically tailored for optimizing 5G networks. This included demonstrations of real-world scenarios where machine learning models enhance network efficiency, reduce latency, and improve overall communication reliability in 5G applications.
The session Concluded with vote of thanks by Ms Sarvika III year ECE student. The workshop was coordinated by Dr Dayakshini HOD-ECE department, Ms K Aarya Shri, and Ms. Priya Miranda, Assistant Professors in the Department of ECE.
