The Department of Business Administration conducted a session on “Financial Planning & Investments” for the III Semester MBA and I Semester BBA students on 22nd September 2026.
Mr Hilary D’Souza, Regional Training Manager, Aditya Birla Capital, Mangalore, was the resource person. He explained the importance of financial planning and highlighted the need for setting financial goals, budgeting, saving, and investing wisely. He also introduced students to various investment avenues and discussed the importance of risk assessment and diversification while making investment decisions.
The session provided the students with practical insights into managing personal finances and making informed investment decisions. The session was interactive and useful in enhancing the students’ understanding of financial planning and investments. Ms Sheikh Al Mufrin, III Sem MBA compered the programme. The session was coordinated by Dr Shakila B, Associate Professor-MBA under the guidance of Dr Prakash Pinto, Dean – MBA.
