BON VOYAGE BASH – Farewell Ceremony for MBA Batch 2023–25

The Department of Business Administration at St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, hosted the “BON VOYAGE BASH”, a formal farewell ceremony honouring the MBA Batch of 2023–25. The event was held on Wednesday, 13th August 2025, at the Kalam Auditorium, Academic Block II, commencing at 9:15 am.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr K Jyothi Damodara, Professor & Dean – Student Welfare, as the Chief Guest, and Dr Prakash Pinto, Professor & Dean – MBA, who presided over the function.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Mr. Ashish, Student Coordinator, followed by an address from the Chief Guest, Dr K Jyothi Damodara, who offered inspirational insights and conveyed best wishes to the graduating students. Representing the first-year MBA cohort, Mr Lester Garwin Cutinha delivered a heartfelt speech expressing appreciation and goodwill towards the outgoing batch.

A highlight of the event was the prize distribution segment, which recognised outstanding performers in various activities conducted under the department’s forums and honoured the forum office bearers. The announcement of prize recipients and the distribution process were conducted under the guidance of Mr Nelson Marwin Fernandes, Faculty Coordinator – Genesis.

In his presidential remarks, Dr Prakash Pinto lauded the achievements of the graduating batch, encouraging them to pursue excellence in their professional journeys. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Rahul Puthran, Student Coordinator, acknowledging the contributions of the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and organisers.

Planned and meticulously organised by the First-Year MBA students (Batch 2024–26), under the coordination of Mr. Ashish and Mr. Rahul Puthran, Student Coordinators, and the guidance of Mr Nelson Marwin Fernandes, Faculty Coordinator – Genesis, and Dr Prakash Pinto, Professor & Dean – MBA, the BON VOYAGE BASH served as a dignified and memorable send-off. The event celebrated the academic accomplishments, personal growth, and cherished memories of the MBA Batch of 2023–25, while extending best wishes for their future endeavours.
