INTRAPRENEUR–2026

Exhibition-cum-Sales of Products and Services

The Department of Business Administration of St Joseph Engineering College successfully organised INTRAPRENEUR–2026, an Exhibition-cum-Sales event, on 29th April 2026. The programme was conducted with the objective of encouraging entrepreneurial spirit among students and promoting small businesses and start-up initiatives.

The event provided a platform for students to showcase their creativity, innovation, and business ideas through the display and sale of various products and services. The exhibition was open to all students and faculty members of the institution, thereby fostering interaction, networking, and entrepreneurial awareness within the campus community.

A total of 12 teams participated in the event. The stalls featured a diverse range of products and services including crochet products, nail art, handmade flowers, 3D printing solutions, handmade keychains, and other creative entrepreneurial offerings. The participants demonstrated commendable enthusiasm, innovation, and marketing skills throughout the event.

The programme was inaugurated by Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal of the institution. In his inaugural address, he appreciated the efforts of the students and faculty members in organising such an initiative that promotes entrepreneurship, innovation, and practical business exposure among students.

The exhibition witnessed active participation and support from students and faculty members, many of whom visited the stalls and encouraged the budding entrepreneurs through their interaction and purchases. The event served as an excellent experiential learning opportunity by enabling participants to gain practical exposure to business operations, customer interaction, sales techniques, and teamwork.

The programme was coordinated by Ms K Manjula, Assistant Professor, and Ms Babitha Rohit, Associate Professor, as faculty coordinators. The student coordinators for the event were Mr Johnson Joy and Mr Johan Lin Menezes, students of second year MBA who played a significant role in the successful organisation and execution of the programme.

INTRAPRENEUR–2026 was a successful initiative that effectively encouraged entrepreneurial thinking and provided a meaningful platform for students to explore and experience the fundamentals of business and start-up culture.
