The Department of Business Administration, in association with the Library and Learning Group, SJEC organised an “SBI Life Insurance Awareness Session” for the staff members of SJEC on 19th May 2026, Tuesday at 4:00 PM in Prerana Hall.
The session aimed to create awareness among the staff regarding the importance of life insurance, financial security, savings, and various insurance plans offered by SBI Life Insurance.
The resource person for the session was Mr Prakash Acharya, Divisional Sales Manager, SBI Life. Mr. Prakash Acharya explained the significance of financial planning and insurance coverage in today’s uncertain environment. He highlighted various insurance products and their benefits for salaried individuals and families. He also provided detailed information regarding different insurance schemes, investment-linked plans and retirement benefits.
The program was informative and beneficial in enhancing awareness about financial protection and future planning through life insurance. Mr. Arun Andrade, SBI Life Insurance Advisor and Mr Harsha, Development Officer, SBI Life were present on the occasion. Dr Shakila B, faculty coordinator of the session welcomed the guests and thanked them. The event concluded successfully with positive feedback from the participants.
