The students of II MBA "A" batch conducted an outreach programme at GUPS School Nalkemar, Amtady, Bantwal Taluk-Mangalore on 14th February 2025, under the guidance of faculty in charge, Mr. Thilak Gowda and Dr. Shakila B. Engaging with students from 3rd to 8th standard, the programme aimed to create an interactive and skill-enhancing learning experience.
The MBA students were divided into four teams, and the school students were also grouped accordingly. Various activities were conducted to improve teamwork, communication, listening ability, problem-solving, and general knowledge. The sessions helped students enhance their confidence, memory, coordination, and ability to express themselves effectively. Through engaging methods, they developed critical thinking and collaboration skills while enjoying the learning process.
This initiative provided MBA students with valuable experience in leadership, teamwork, and organizing community-based activities. The enthusiasm and active participation of the school students made the programme impactful, fostering a sense of curiosity and confidence among young learners.
St. Francis Higher Primary School, Mooduperar-Mangalore.
The outreach program was conducted by II MBA ‘B’ students at St. Francis Higher Primary School, Mooduperar on 21st February 2025 under the guidance of faculty in charge, Mr. Thilak Gowda and Mr Cherian Xavier. The students were conducted various activities with an objective to build sense of social responsibility, skill development and moral and value based learning. The event was commenced with a formal welcome by the Headmistress Ms. Asuntha M Dmello. Following this, Ms. Roshni Crasta welcomed the gathering, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to engage with the students. Rev. Fr. James Dsouza, the Correspondent, then addressed the audience with a few words, reminding them that while success sets high expectations, humility and continuous growth are equally important.
After the formal introductions, the children from grades 1 to 7 were divided into four teams, and a series of activities, games, and songs were organized to ensure maximum participation and enjoyment. The students enthusiastically engaged in the planned events, showcasing their talent and energy. The interactive sessions allowed them to bond with one another and with the visiting team. The highlight of the day was witnessing the joy and excitement on the children's faces as they participated wholeheartedly in the activities.
As a token of appreciation, the children were gifted stationery items and bringing smiles to their faces. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Rishanth Keith Fernandes, acknowledging the efforts of all involved in making the day a success.
