Outbound Program

The Department of Business Administration organized a 2 days Outbound Training program at Madikeri for 3 rd semester MBA &  MBA(IEV) students on 9^th and 10^th of December, 2024. 99 students boarded the bus on 9^th December from SJEC Campus at 5.30 am.

They reached the training center, Talakaveri at 12.30 pm. The trainer, Mr. Ramani Venkat and his team eagerly awaited their arrival. The training session started immediately after lunch at 2.00 pm and ended by campfire at 10 pm. Next day at 6.00 am the training session began and concluded at 2.00 pm.

Mr. Ramani Venkat is a Strategic Consultant offering Consulting services to the Corporate world. He also conducts Workshops for Corporates using innovative and NLP based pedagogy. Currently associated with around 150 Business Schools, conducting research based training workshops to help students learn concepts. He also is mentoring around 4 Startups from Karnataka.

The training was focussed on All Round Development of a Management Graduate Which Included Activities related to Management Concepts of HR, Marketing and Finance. Team building, Trust, Understanding and bringing out Leadership and people handling skills.

OBT Process

• The Batch was Divided into 6 Teams
• After every activity, the winning teams were given Dummy cash as profit and losing team had to pay cash indicating loss.
• Individual Contributions within a team were awarded Dummy cash that got added to the teams Kitty.
• Winner was the team with HIGH NETWORTH

The students were accompanied by the Faculty Coordinator of OBT Ms.K.Manjula, Assistant Proferssor-MBA , Dr Babitha Rohit, Associate Professor-MBA and Mr. Nelson Marvin Fernandes, Assistant Proferssor-MBA.
