The Department of Business Administration and the Department of Computer Applications jointly organized a workshop titled "Self Exploration and Upskilling" for BBA and BCA students. The session was designed to help students understand their strengths, interests, and areas for growth, while equipping them with practical strategies to build relevant skills for their academic and professional journeys. Dr Preethi Keerthi D'Souza, Professor of Commerce, Mangalore University, was the speaker for the session. Drawing on her academic experience, she guided students through the process of self-exploration and highlighted the importance of continuous upskilling in today's competitive environment. The session covered self-awareness as the foundation for career planning, insights into identifying personal strengths and areas of interest, guidance on aligning upskilling efforts with industry expectations, and interactive engagement with students on practical steps to build employability. The event was coordinated by Ms Carmel Benita Dmello, Assistant Professor, MCA, under the guidance of Dr Prakash Pinto (Dean, MBA) and Dr Hareesh B (HOD, MCA). The workshop provided BBA and BCA students with valuable perspectives on self-assessment and skill development, encouraging them to take a proactive approach toward their personal and professional growth.
