A two-day PGCET/KMAT training program was jointly organized by the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Computer Applications, St. Joseph Engineering College, on 30th and 31st July 2024. The program aimed to equip MBA and MCA aspirants with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the PGCET/KMAT examinations. The primary objective of the training program was to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the PGCET/KMAT exam pattern and syllabus. Additionally, the program focused on enhancing problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative abilities, as well as improving general knowledge and English language skills.
The program commenced with the opening remarks by Dr.Prakash Pinto, Professor and Dean, who emphasized the significance of competitive exams for securing admissions to prestigious institutions. The subsequent sessions were conducted by faculty members from both departments, covering the aforementioned subjects in a structured and engaging manner. A general knowledge session was incorporated to stimulate a competitive environment and broaden participants' awareness. Moreover, specific sessions were tailored to the requirements of MBA and MCA aspirants, ensuring focused learning. The comprehensive coverage of the syllabus, coupled with expert guidance, provided participants with a solid foundation for their exam preparation.
