The Department of Computer Applications, under the aegis of TechnoCrats – Students’ Association of MCA, successfully organized TECHPRINTS 10.0 – Abstract Presentation on 23 May 2026. The event aimed to foster a research-oriented culture among MCA students and provide a platform to present research ideas, exchange knowledge, and engage in scholarly discussions.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Shreeranga Bhat, Dean – Research & Development, as the Chief Guest, and Dr. Rio D’Souza, Principal, who presided over the programme. Their inspiring addresses highlighted the importance of research and innovation in nurturing critical thinking, academic excellence, and solutions to real-world technological challenges.
The technical sessions were conducted from 10:15 a.m. to 4:30 PM across seven parallel tracks, covering emerging areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Healthcare, Educational Technology, and Intelligent Computing. The presentations were evaluated by expert Session Chairs based on originality, innovation, technical quality, research methodology, and presentation skills.
Seven Best Paper Awards, one from each track, were presented to Ruvel Aaron Mascarenhas, Prakyath, Harshitha Shetty, Deepashree, Chaithanya P., Ashwini R. S., and Adarsh Kasaragod for their outstanding research contributions.
TECHPRINTS 10.0 successfully enhanced student’s research aptitude, technical knowledge, analytical thinking, presentation skills, and confidence, while encouraging them to pursue quality research and innovation. The Department appreciates the support of the Management, dignitaries, Session Chairs, faculty members, student volunteers, and participants in making the event a success.
