Powerful Techniques to Achieve a Positive State of Mind

The Association year kicked off with an interactive inaugural workshop titled "Powerful Techniques to Achieve  a Positive State of Mind” in March 2023. Conducted by Ms Disha Rag, an acclaimed psychologist with over 15 years of counselling experience, the session focused on equipping the 88 participating students with practical tips and frameworks for building resilience, managing everyday challenges and leading more fulfilling, meaningful lives. Spanning three hours, the engaging workshop format interspersed reflective discussions, case study analyses and group activities on topics ranging from goal-setting strategies to cultivating healthy habits for improved mental wellbeing. Students found the learnings highly applicable to navigating the stresses of college life effectively. The inaugural event set the stage for impactful SIGMATHS activities promoting holistic development.
