Inauguration of the new student council of the department students’ association “Torque” for the academic year 2025–26

The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized the inauguration of the new student council of the department students’ association “Torque” for the academic year 2025–26 on 3rd November 2025.

The event was graced by Mr. Akash Shetty, Chief Guest of the function and CSMO – STRAECON, who addressed the students and shared valuable insights on industry expectations, teamwork, and professional growth.

The inauguration marked the formal induction of the newly elected office bearers of Torque, who will coordinate various technical, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities of the department during the academic year. The event also aimed to encourage student leadership, innovation, and collaboration within the department.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks and an expression of commitment from the new council to uphold the objectives of Torque and contribute positively to the growth of the department.
