SAEINDIA SJEC Collegiate Club in association with Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defence (COEAD), Bengaluru organized a 5-Day orientation programme for students of third and final year engineering disciplines. The orientation programme began on 9 July 2018, Monday at 9:30 AM with the welcome of resource person Mr Ramesh, Advisor and Chief Trainer, COEAD - Bengaluru by Dr Sudheer M, Head, Department of ME.
Mr. Ramesh, with 44 years of experience in the field of Aerospace field from reputed institutions like NAL, HAL and Jet Airways, handled the entire first day on the topic Aircraft Mechanical Systems . On the second day, Mr Ramesh continued his session till afteoon and later the workshop was taken forward by Mr Gautham, an expert in the field of 3D experience platform of Dassault Systems.
On the third day, Mr Prasanna Venkatesh, Technical expert in the field of Aerospace Simulation demonstrated the modelling and analysis software Delmia. Experts like Mr Movin Furtado, Mr. Taranisen and Mr Debashish dedicated the 4th and 5th day of the orientation program to the lab trainings on latest topics like Electrical Haess, Design value stream, and Landing gear design from COEAD. Total of 28 students participated from third and final year of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Department. Mr Yathish Kumar and Mr Vijay V.S, Faculty Advisors and Mr Darryl D’Souza, Student Coordinator organized the program successfully. SE
