'TORQUE'-Mechanical Department Association, SJEC oraganized a Webinar on "Career opportunities in Aerospace and Defence Sector" in association with Centre of Excellence in Aerospace and Defence (COEAD), Bengaluru on 11 th June 2020 from 10.00 AM to 12.00 PM for third year engineering students in an online mode using Google Meet platform. Total 55 students attended the program including students from neighboring engineering colleges like Canara Engineering College, VCET and VMIT, Pune.Dr K Badari Narayan, Industry Expert, COEAD and Scientist (Retired), ISRO explained briefly about training structure in COEAD and gave a bird eye view of Aerodynamics, Aircraft structures and propulsion system. Mr Nicky Harris and Mr Chethan, Trainers in simulation and system engineering, COEAD enlightened the participants about the 3D Experience platform and Digital Manufacturing system respectively. Participants gave positive feedback and many students showed interest in pursuing an inteship or foundation course in the Aircraft system by COEAD Bengaluru in future.
