IEEE SJEC Student branch in association with IEEE TEMS conducted a training program for IEEE students on Science related experiment on 27 June 2022 at 2.00 PM in the Physics Lab. Dr Rajesh PC, HOD-Physics Department SJEC was the resource person.
Dr Rajesh PC demonstrated the calibration process of spectrometer to get a narrow beam of light. This light was made to fall on a prism and using the other end of spectrometer the dispersion of white light was observed. He also demonstrated the effect of light on concave and convex lenses. Laser light was passed through the prism to demonstrate the diffraction and reflection process.
