Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with SJEC MATLAB and CoreEL Technologies Bengaluru organized Two-days Hands-on workshop on "Physics using MATLAB” during 01-02 June 2023, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Mr. Rakshith B S, Senior Application Engineer-UPT, CoreEL Technologies Bengaluru was the resource person.
The workshop started by welcome and introductory remarks by Ms. Ms Anarghya S, Convener.
Day 1 (01-06-2023) focused on Fundamentals of MATLAB & Simulink. The topics covered are Getting Started with MATLAB online and Software, Managing and visualizing Matrices and mathematical simulation.
Day2 (02-06-2023) focused on Arrays and various properties of an array, basics of Simulink Physical Models simulation, Monte Carlo simulation and several physics examples were discussed.
The workshop was ended with a note on how to search the different models that are already uploaded and how to run them to make use of them in our day-to-day lecture sessions. Dr. Rajesh Kumar P C, HOD, Department of Physics, thanked the resource person and handed him an appreciation letter as a token of love and respect.
