24 students from SJEC ECO Club, along with faculty members Ms. Nishitha J Dsouza and Ms. Sinchana K, attended the event on 25th October 2026.
The program began at 10:30 AM with inaugural addresses by Shri P.B. Ahmed Mudassar (President, KCCI) and Shri Vinod A.R. Pinto (President, CREDAI Mangalore), highlighting sustainability in construction. Shri Vishwas U.S. introduced the guests and the objectives of the conclave under Mission Utthan.
The keynote by Shri R. Shankar, ESG & Sustainability Expert, focused on carbon credits, ESG frameworks, and industry readiness. He emphasized reducing emissions, aligning with sustainability goals, and the role of governance, transparency, and green finance, supported by real-world case studies.
