The Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering organised ADIOS - A Farewell!! - Farewell to the Class of 2018 on 17th May 2018, at 02:00 PM in Fr Fred Memorial Hall. Dr Joseph Gonsalvis, Principal - SJEC was the Chief Guest for the programme. Mr Subramanya K & Ms Chaithra Shetty, Assistant Professors in the Department convened the function.
Ms Shivani Thumbe, Student of VI semester (E&E) was the Master of Ceremony. Mr Christon Kenneth Dsouza formally welcomed the gathering. Dr Joseph Gonsalvis, Principal, advised the students to take up responsibilities to create a better environment in the society. Mr Ajithanjaya Kumar M K, Assistant Professor spoke about the ups and down in life. He also advised the student to face the challenges positively in work place. Mr Sathisha K, Assistant Professor spoke about the aspects which will help students to excel in their life. Mr Vishal Bhandary student of final year shared his experiences at SJEC during the past four years. Mementos were distributed to students by Dr Shreryl Grace Colaco, Mr Sathisha K, Mr Ajithanjaya Kumar M K, Ms Bharathi Rao & Ms Divya K Pai. Mr Alex Mathew and group were awarded with cash prize for best report writing on A Industrial Visit to Varahi Hydro Power Plant under EELS Association. In conclusion, Ms Rani Rashmitha, student of VI Semester E&E , proposed the vote of thanks. After the formal program the refreshments were served and the informal program started at 3:30PM. Students of third year had organised various games and activities where all the outgoing students actively took part in the events. The program ended at 5:00PM.
