The Department of EEE organized an Alumni meeting with second year EEE students on ‘Case based leaing session on project management and communication’. This session was conducted on 29.01.2019 in EEE seminar hall from 12:00-1:15p.m. Mr Sanjay Khan (Alumnus Batch 2012), General Manager, Tenstar Groups, Saudi Arabia was the resource person. The session focused on professional etiquettes, importance of confidence building and prioritizing of daily activities. The resource person also presented ideas on Self-investment by getting trained during free hours, financial planning, different levels of project management etc. The students were motivated to certification course on Project Management that has inteational recognition. He explained the importance of using software tools like Microsoft project to ensure proper planning, resource allocation and closing of the project. An activity on communication skill development named messenger was conducted in groups to demonstrate the importance of effective communication among team members. The session was highly appreciated by students and faculty present for the meeting. Dr Sheryl Colaco and Mr Deepesh SK coordinated this meeting. This meeting was attended by 46 II year EEE students.
