Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering under EELs association in collaboration with Community Engagement Group conducted a technical training programme titled "Electricity and Automation” for the students of 8th, 9th and 10th grade of Govt. High School, Hosabettu, Moodbidre on 9 August 2023 from 10 am to 1 pm. The objective of this technical programme is to enhance the scientific temper of high school students belonging to the rural background.
The training program consisted of student groups providing demo of automation based projects to school students and informing them about safety issues related to electricity, students also made charts to explain the demo projects with simple block diagrams. The school students exhibited high energy and clarified their queries during this program.
Ms Venita Monteiro- Asst Professor, Physics department, Ms Madhavi Gatty, Mr Joysun Dsouza , Assistant Professors, Dept. of EEE were the faculty in charge for this activity. Mr Anson Feandes , Department of ME was the student coordinator of the Community group activity. The program was well appreciated by the school students and the teachers present.
