EELS association from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a technical seminar on ‘Electrical Design & Estimation’ as the second event in the Techathlon annual event series. This event was conducted on 13th February, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and was conducted in Power System Simulation Lab for first, second and third year EEE students.
Mr. Suhas Shenoy, Alumni from the batch of 2016, Engineer, SELCO Foundation, Manipal was the resource person for this event. The event consisted of three sessions where the first session focused on the basics of Solar Technology and projects based on Solar Energy. The second session consisted of a demonstration on industry based software 'ECODIAL' from Schneider Electric for electrical estimation. Solar design calculations for different case studies was conducted as part of the third session. These sessions were highly appreciated by the students as it provided them with core knowledge in the domain of Electrical Design & Estimation.
