The sixth programme of Techathlon annual series hosted by the EELS association of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was a technical seminar on Introduction to Python Programming. The seminar was held at the E&E Seminar Hall for second year E&E students on 19 th February, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Mr. Merryl D’Mello, Alumnus Batch 2007, Senior Consultant, Ardelis Tech., Bengaluru was the resource person. The importance of leaing Python for better job opportunities was the focus of the seminar. The resource person provided details of important resources for leaing Python Programming. The students were given a live demo on procuring inteet data through web applications within a matter of seconds. The participants actively interacted with the resource person and showed interest in registering for a full-fledged Python workshop. The staff coordinators for this event included Dr Sheryl Colaco and Mr. Deepesh SK.
