Technical seminar on PLC and Drives was the fifth event organized as part of the Techathlon series of events conducted by the EELS association from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The event was conducted on 17 th February, 2018 in the E&E Seminar Hall from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
Mr Ajeya B, Alumnus from the batch of 2013, Engineer, Jindal Steels Pvt Ltd., Bellary was the resource person. The basics of PLC and its application in industrial manufacturing processes was the main highlight. The participants were given a live demo on industry based PLC software 'LOGOSOFT' from Schneider Electric. The students were also motivated to make use of the Micro PLC available in the department for their projects. The student appreciated this interactive session.
