A technical talk on "Mangaluru Smart City Cooperation Projects” was organized for third semester EEE students on 21 December 2022 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM in Fr Fred Memorial Hall. The resource person for the talk was Mr Mohammed Shakeer, Alumnus batch of 2014, KPTCL representative, MCC. This programme was organized by Mr Deepesh S K and Mr Franco Menezes, Assistant Professors, EEE department. The talk provided significance of different voltage levels in transmission and distribution systems in Kaataka state. It also provided information on different type of substations and transformers. The resource person also presented completed projects of Mangaluru smart city project and future plans like the water front project. There was a video presentation of these projects which made the event interesting for the students present.
