The Office of Collaborations successfully organized a talk on “A Guide to Study Abroad for Engineering and Masters Students” on 7 June 2024, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Prerana, Academic Block III. The session, aimed at pre-final year Engineering, MBA, and MCA students, was led by Ms. Priya K, Branch and Operation Head Manager of Planet Education Karnataka.
Ms. Priya, with over 21 years of experience, shared valuable insights on study destinations, courses, universities, application processes, scholarships, financial planning, visa and travel arrangements, employment prospects, and profile building. Her extensive expertise has facilitated the placement of over 1000 students in prime universities globally, including alumni from SJEC Mangalore.
The event also featured Ms. Pavithra Anchan, Lead Counselor, and Mr. Imran, Marketing Manager from Planet Education. Following the talk, a counseling session was held in the Training and Placement Cell to address additional queries and concerns, ensuring comprehensive guidance for attendees.
