A Common farewell program Alvida 2025 for the final year UG students was held on Saturday May 31st ,2025 at 10:00am in the Kalam Auditorium. The event started with the invocation, which was followed by the presentation of the farewell video. The video beautifully captured the students’ cherished memories and experiences at SJEC, along with heartfelt messages and best wishes from the faculty members.
Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal SJEC welcomed the gathering. The toast was raised by Dr Sanath Saralaya, HoD - Department Electrical & Electronics Engineering. In his toast, he called upon the students to become proud alumni of the college and be the good ambassadors. On behalf of all final - year students, Ms Sarvika, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mr Sohan Austin Mascaranus, Department of Computer Science & Engineering replied to the toast who recollected about their time in the college.
The Director, Rev. Fr. Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, delivered the presidential address, wherein he reflected on the students’ journey, highlighted their achievements, and offered words of encouragement for their future endeavors. Following this, the Assistant Director, Rev. Fr. Kenneth R. Crasta, invoked divine blessings upon the outgoing students, wishing them success, strength, and guidance as they step into a new chapter of their lives.

The event was compered by Dr. Aswathy and Ms. Supreetha D. R.
The vote of thanks was given by Ms Padmini Bhat, Convener who thanked the management, faculty and students for their support. The formal event concluded with wishing the outgoing students the best of luck as they embark on a new journey.
The formal program was followed by a vibrant dance performance by the VDC Group and an energetic Baila session, adding a joyful touch to the event.
