The Civil Services Introductory Workshop was successfully conducted by The Office of Collaborations, SJEC Mangaluru, as a part of the upcoming Civil Services Training Program on campus. The session aimed to provide students with a foundational understanding of the Civil Services examination process, preparation strategies, and career prospects.

The event was graced by Mr Sobhan George Abraham, a renowned Civil Services faculty with over 15 years of experience in coaching UPSC aspirants. Having mentored more than 1,000 successful candidates, Mr Sobhan brought immense expertise and insight into the session. Many students were already familiar with his teaching, having attended his previous talks and interactions.

During the workshop, Mr Sobhan provided a comprehensive overview of the Civil Services examination, covering key aspects such as:

  • Challenges in Civil Services preparation
  • Effective strategies to approach the exam
  • Syllabus, exam pattern, and study plan
  • Details about the faculty and training program

The session was highly interactive, with students engaging in discussions, clearing doubts, and gaining clarity on the path to success in Civil Services. The workshop concluded on a positive note, with students expressing enthusiasm and appreciation for the valuable insights shared.
