On 07 April 2025, St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Catholic Board of Education (CBE), Mangaluru. The MoU was formally signed by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, Director, SJEC, and Rev. Dr Praveen Leo Lasrado, Secretary, CBE.
The purpose of this MoU is to formalize a collaborative partnership focused on delivering technological training programs to the staff members and students of CBE’s English-medium schools. These programs are designed to equip participants with essential technological knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to better adapt to evolving digital landscapes.
The event was graced by the presence of Fr Kenneth R. Crasta, Assistant Director, Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal, Dr Hareesha B, HOD, MCA from SJEC. The implementation and monitoring of this initiative will be overseen by the Department of Computer Applications, SJEC.
This partnership marks a significant step towards empowering the academic community with modern technological competencies and strengthening institutional ties for mutual development.
