St Joseph Engineering College (SJEC), Mangaluru, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Power Flow Controls (PFC), Bengaluru, on 19 May 2025. The MoU was formally signed by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D'Souza, Director, SJEC, and Mr Manjunath G. R., Technical Head and Managing Partner of PFC.
The objective of this MoU is to establish a strategic partnership between SJEC and PFC to deliver technological training programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of staff and students from the English-medium schools under the Catholic Board of Education (CBE). These programs will focus on equipping participants with essential technological competencies and practical exposure.
The MoU signing ceremony was graced by the presence of Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal, Dr Sanath Saralaya, Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Dr Subramanya K, Assistant Professor, EEE, Ms Himani Kishan Raj, Assistant Professor, SJEC, and Ms Diana Monteiro, Collaborations Officer, SJEC.
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SJEC, will take the lead in implementing and monitoring the initiatives under this collaboration.
