On July 5, 2024, St Joseph Engineering College, Mangaluru, and M/s Petrocon Engineers and Consultants (PEC) Mangaluru officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at SJEC Campus, Mangaluru. This collaboration aims to offer to facilitate internships, training, and placements for Civil Engineering students, and to develop educational programs. This partnership aims to enhance students' practical skills and industry exposure, benefiting their professional development.
The MoU was signed by Rev. Fr Wilfred Prakash D’Souza, Director of SJEC, and Mr Mohammed Rasheed, Managing Director, PEC, Mangaluru. Key officials including Dr Rio D’Souza, Principal, Dr Yajneshwaran B, HoD, CV, Dr ESTR Chandra Shekar, Associate Professor, CV and Ms Diana Monteiro, Collaborations Officer from SJEC, alongside Mr Alshamiq, Business Development Executive and Mr Joulan Goveas, HR Admin, representing PEC, were present at the signing ceremony.
