The College Internal Complaint Committee (CICC) in association with the Office of Dean-Student Welfare conducted PoSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) awareness talks for the final year students of different departments in the month of October 2025. The resource person for the sessions was Dr Shakila B, Chairperson of College Internal Complaints Committee (CICC). The main aim of the talks was to create awareness among students about the PoSH Act, 2013, and to ensure a safe and respectful campus environment.

During the sessions, students were informed about the origin of PoSH Act, meaning of sexual harassment, the importance of maintaining respectful behaviour, and the role of the College Internal Complaints Committee. The procedure for reporting complaints and ensuring confidentiality was also explained. Students actively participated in the discussions and shared their views. The sessions helped them to understand the need for gender sensitivity and maintaining a positive and safe learning environment.
