Talk on Higher Education Abroad

The Office of Collaborations, in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, organized a talk on Higher Education Abroad on 1st September 2025 for final-year students aspiring to pursue studies overseas 

The session provided insights on when to begin the application process and offered step-by-step guidance on shortlisting universities, preparing for exams, and meeting deadlines. It also gave an overview of competitive exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, and GATE, and emphasized the importance of essential documents like the SOP, LOR, Resume, and Transcripts. Furthermore, students were briefed on the opportunities available abroad and the common mistakes to avoid while planning their higher education journey.

The talk was delivered by Dr. Guru Tej, CAO and Director, Wizdom Ed., and Dr. Francisca Tej, Founder and Director, Wizdom Ed., Mangaluru, who shared their expertise and practical experiences, making the session highly valuable for the participants.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Melwin D’Souza, HoD-CSE, Ms. Diana Monteiro, Collaborations Officer, and Ms. Jithya K V, Assistant Professor-CSE.
