The Office of Collaborations organized an insightful talk on “Global Career Pathways through International Internships” on 16 April 2025 for third-year engineering students, aiming to broaden their understanding of international opportunities and prepare them for global careers.
The session was led by Dr Syed Riyaz Ahammed, Deputy Director – International Relations at Nitte University, a distinguished academician with expertise in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechatronics, and Additive Manufacturing.
Dr Syed highlighted the importance of international exposure, sharing valuable insights on higher education and internship opportunities abroad, funding options, and application strategies. He also shared success stories of students he has mentored, many of whom are now pursuing PhDs or careers abroad. His experience with initiatives like the Study in India program under the Ministry of Education, India, added a unique perspective.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A, Overall, the talk was a highly enriching experience, motivating students to explore global career opportunities through international internships.
