The Office of Collaborations organized a talk on “Planning Your Global Education Journey” on 23 July 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Prerana Hall, Academic Block III. The session was conducted for final-year B.E. students who were interested in pursuing higher education abroad. The program aimed to provide students with clear guidance on the various stages involved in planning and applying for overseas education.
The session was led by Dr. Guru Tej, Co-Founder, CAO and Director of Wisdom Ed. He provided valuable guidance on when students should begin their application process, how to shortlist suitable universities, and the entrance and competitive examinations required for admission to international institutions. He also discussed important application deadlines and various opportunities available for students seeking higher education abroad.
The resource person also explained the importance of essential application documents such as Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), resumes, and academic transcripts. Students were given practical guidance on preparing these documents effectively and were made aware of common mistakes that should be avoided during the application process.
The session was informative and beneficial for the students, providing them with practical insights into the requirements and planning involved in pursuing higher education abroad. The talk helped students gain a better understanding of the application process and encouraged them to begin their preparation in a systematic and timely manner.
