The Office of Collaborations, in association with Yamaha Music Square, Mangaluru, organized an engaging Yamaha-Free Certified Music Workshop on 14th March 2025 at Prerana Hall, AB III, for UG and PG students. The session, held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, was an exciting opportunity for students to explore the world of music, understand different musical instruments, and gain hands-on experience in their usage and maintenance.
The session began with Mr Premnath, who introduced various musical instruments, explained their selection process, and highlighted their features. This was followed by a hands-on training session by Mr Allan Mascarenhas, an Instrument Specialist from Yamaha Music Square, who demonstrated proper handling, maintenance, and minor repairs of instruments.
The session was highly interactive, with many students enthusiastically participating. They had the opportunity to play instruments, sing, and collaborate with fellow students, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere. The event was fun-filled and educational, allowing students to discover their musical talents and enhance their knowledge. At the end of the session, participants were awarded a Yamaha-certified certificate.
