The YUVAJANOTSAVA 2025, the 13th Karnataka Regional Youth Convention (KRYC), was held with great enthusiasm and spirit from October 2nd to 5th, 2025 at St. Joseph’s School and College, Kajubag, Karwar. This grand celebration also marked 40 glorious years of the Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) under the visionary leadership of the Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops’ Council (KRCBC) Youth Commission.

The Diocese of Karwar played the proud host for this remarkable Jubilee Convention, welcoming around 2,000 vibrant young leaders representing the 14 dioceses of Karnataka. The convention stood as a powerful testament to the faith, unity, and leadership of Catholic youth across the state, providing a platform to renew their commitment to serve the Church
and society with zeal and purpose.
Over four inspiring days, the event featured meaningful sessions, panel discussions, cultural performances, Eucharistic celebrations, and leadership workshops, all centered on the spirit of faith, fellowship, and transformation. Eminent speakers and Church leaders guided the youth on living their faith actively in today’s world, promoting values of peace, justice, and
environmental stewardship.
The Jubilee celebration also honored the 40-year journey of the KRYC, recalling its humble beginnings, growth, and impact in empowering generations of youth through faith-based leadership and social engagement. The atmosphere was filled with joy, gratitude, and hope as delegates celebrated the milestones achieved and envisioned a brighter, more united future for the youth of Karnataka.
The YUVAJANOTSAVA 2025 concluded with a renewed call for young people to be the light of the world — to lead with compassion, uphold Christian values, and be active agents of change in their communities. Indeed, the 13th KRYC and the 40th Jubilee Celebration was not just an event — it was a movement of faith, hope, and youthful energy that will continue to inspire the Church in Karnataka for years to come.
