Responsibilities At SJEC

  1. Heading the Department of Central Library

  4. Promotion of library resources through workshops, user awareness programmes & FDPs

  5. Monitoring the access/usage of VTU Consortium e-resources.

  6. Managing the DrilBit account and guiding faculty/students to check the originality of their articles using  Drilbit Software

  7. Providing support to the faculty/research scholars to identify journals & publish their articles in Scopus indexed journals having impact factors. 

  8. Providing support to the faculty to get the full text of requested articles through DELNET

  9. Providing literature search support to the faculty and students

  10. Compiling and editing “Compendium of Research Publications" annually.

  11. Coordinating the activities of LLG and RFG college-level committees

  12. Monitoring and managing the faculty profile in the  IRINS portal of SJEC
