Assistant Professor
I am honoured to serve as an Assistant Professor here at the St Joseph engineering college. With a rich and rewarding career spanning over three decades, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to our vibrant academic community.
Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of teaching and mentoring many students in various disciplines of engineering. My primary areas of expertise include Automobile Engineering, Control Engineering, Automation and Robotics, Fluid Power Engineering, and Human Values. Each of these subjects holds a special place in my heart, as they encompass the critical and evolving aspects of engineering that drive innovation and societal progress
Automobile Engineering has always fascinated me, and I enjoy exploring the complexities of vehicle dynamics, automotive design, and emission control systems with my students. My goal is to equip future engineers with the skills and knowledge needed to design and develop sustainable and efficient vehicles for the future.
Automation and Robotics is another passion of mine. The rapid advancements in this field present endless opportunities for innovation. Through my courses, students gain hands-on experience with industrial automation, robotic kinematics. Beyond the technical subjects, I place a strong emphasis on Human Values in Engineering. I believe it is crucial for engineers to consider the ethical implications and societal impacts of their work. Through this course, I encourage students to integrate professional responsibility and ethical considerations into their engineering practices.
I am deeply committed to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to innovate, collaborate, and think critically. I actively engage in multidisciplinary research projects, industry collaborations, and community outreach programs to bridge the gap between academia and real-world applications
