An academician with 19 years of dedicated teaching experience in the Mechanical Engineering Department, I am dedicated to contributing to the academic and professional growth of our institution. My efforts extend beyond teaching to include significant contributions in research and innovation, evidenced by the patents I have published and filed, as well as numerous academic papers. In addition to my academic responsibilities, I serve in various coordinating roles within the department, including Coursera Coordinator, MOOCs Coordinator, and Spoken Tutorial Coordinator. I am also an active member of the Library and Learning Group, continually working to enhance our educational resources and opportunities for both students and faculty.

My research interests are centered around advancing sustainable energy solutions and innovative engineering designs. I have actively contributed to the field of renewable energy, with a particular focus on compound parabolic solar concentrators, exploring their efficiency and applications. Additionally, I have filed and published patents that showcases my commitment to practical and impactful engineering innovations. My ongoing research aims to develop and optimize technologies that harness renewable energy sources, contributing to a more sustainable and energy-efficient future.

Participated in Student Project Programme (SPP) during the year 2012-2013 (36th series), was the advisor to the group of students who completed the project entitled “study and design of domestic gas burner and modification of gas stove”. This project was adjudged as one of the outstanding projects of the year and was selected for “project of the year” award during the seminar and exhibition held at Angadi institute of technology and management, Begaum on 30th and 31st August 2013.
