Hello, my name is Devikrishna KS, currently working as an Assistant Professor at St Joseph Engineering College Manglore. I bring over four years of dedicated experience in education, specializing in Computer Science and Informatics Practices across various academic levels. With a strong foundation in both theoretical knowledge and practical application, I have effectively guided students through the complexities of these subjects, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
My career journey began as an Assistant Professor at St Joseph Engineering College, where I honed my skills in curriculum development, lecture delivery, and laboratory management. Subsequently, I served as a Course Coordinator at Thakshasila IAS Academy, where I contributed significantly to the preparation of students for the Union Public Service Commission Examination.
I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from SIT Mangalore, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Information Science & Engineering from VCET Mangalore. Throughout my academic pursuits, I have actively participated in workshops and pursued additional certifications, such as Certificate of Exellence in Python Fullstack development and web programming with Trinity Software Technologies.
My passion for education is underpinned by a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. I am proficient in a range of programming languages including Python, C, and Java, and adept at utilizing frameworks like Django and tools such as MySQL for database management. Beyond technical skills, I emphasize interactive teaching techniques, ensuring comprehensive understanding and engagement among students.
Driven by a desire to contribute to social welfare and human development, I am eager to leverage my expertise in an institution that values innovation, education, and community service. This interdisciplinary area explores the development of AI systems capable of performing tasks across diverse domains, mimicking human cognitive functions such as learning, reasoning, problem-solving, and decision-making.
