I work as an Assistant Professor in the Department of ICBS. My journey in academia has been enriched by diverse experiences both in teaching and industry.
I hold a Master of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering from Shree Devi Institute Of Technology (2017) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science Engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute Of Technology (2010). Currently, I am pursuing my PhD at Manipal in the field of Cybersecurity, further deepening my expertise in this critical domain.
My passion for education led me to embark on a career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of ICBS at St Joseph Engineering College(present) and Assistant Professor at Shree Devi Institute Of Technology, where I nurtured the minds of aspiring engineers from 2011 to 2014, and later from 2015 to 2016 and 2020 to 2023.
Beyond the classroom, I've also delved into the world of industry, contributing my skills as a Search Engine Evaluator, Transcriber, and Social Media Evaluator at renowned organizations including Appen, TELUS International, Lionbridge AI and GoTranscript. I've had the privilege of exploring different facets of technology and its applications in real-world scenarios.
Throughout my academic journey, I've eagerly immersed myself in various workshops, seminars, and webinars, exploring emerging technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity.

Responsibilities At SJEC
- Currently, I serve as the Department Coordinator for Placement and Training Group, MOU, and the College Magazine, actively working to enhance student opportunities and institutional collaborations.
- I was the coordinator of Bootcamp-2025 and we had an informative session and presented our course plan at the end of the day.
- As I'm part of Eco Club I was responsible for organizing talk on E-Waste Management, raising awareness among students about proper disposal methods and recycling processes.
- Coordinated events and discussions on Environmental Sustainability in the Khadi and Handloom Sector, highlighting eco-friendly practices and promoting traditional crafts.
- Organized and managed the annual Technova event, facilitating the presentation of final year projects.
- I'm also the NAAC and AICTE/VTU data entry coordinator for ICBS Department.
