The Department of Business Administration has organized an Alumni Interaction session by Mr Johnson Stephen Mascarenhas, HR Coordinator at Starlink DMCC, Dubai, for I yr MBA Students on 30 th November 2018 at 2:00 pm in Spoorthi Hall, 7 th Floor, Academic Block III.
The main objective of this interaction is to imbibe in students the corporate culture and to make them understand the situation prevailing in the corporate world.
Ms Chitralekha J Acharya, Assistant Professor, MBA introduced Johnson and welcomed the gathering.
Mr Johnson started his session by providing some useful tips on grooming and interviewing. He expressed his passion for HR from his earlier days and is happy with his current designation as HR Coordinator. He also highlighted the usefulness of theory studied which is then applied in the organization set up. Mr Johnson also added few tips to be taken care while preparing resume, the skills that has to be highlighted in the resume such as MS excel which is mandatory in the organization for any HR related Jobs. He also shared his work experience at Starlink, Dubai, which gave him wide exposure.
The session was concluded by queries from first year students which were clarified by Johnson.
