EEE dept. in association with EELS and IEEE organized an Industrial Visit to Traction Power Substation, Konkan Railways, Mulky for 7 th semester EEE students on 19.12.2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Mr Narayan Nair, Senior Section Engineer, KRCL-Udupi addressed the students on the 25KV substation layout, equipment in the substation, remote and manual control and maintenance of the Substation, the difference between Conventional substation and traction substation etc. The students could relate their theory content on the traction leat in UEP with practical visualization and clarification from industry personnel
